DAIWA PIER39 Opens Its First Korea Pop-Up Sept. 18 — Why Dosan Is the Place to See It
Opens Sept. 18 · KREAM Dosan Flagship Store · No paid admission announced
Japanese technical-lifestyle label DAIWA PIER39 is opening its first pop-up in Korea on September 18, bringing its fishing-derived outerwear and urban wardrobe to one of Seoul’s key fashion neighborhoods.
Why it is worth seeing now
This is more than a seasonal retail drop. The pop-up marks DAIWA PIER39’s first official offline introduction to Korea, built around the local message “Hello Seoul.” The space connects the label’s idea of moving seamlessly between nature and the city with a Seoul-specific campaign featuring people active in the local scene.
The main draw is the 2026 AW collection, including lightweight outerwear, shirts and sweatshirts that translate DAIWA’s technical-material background into everyday clothing. Purchase-based gifts made with GORE-TEX material are also planned while supplies last.
How to visit
Venue: KREAM Dosan Flagship Store, 24 Eonju-ro 168-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Opening date: Sept. 18, 2026
Nearest station: Apgujeong Rodeo Station; the store is roughly an 8-minute walk from Exit 5.
Store hours: Mon–Thu 11:00–20:00 / Fri–Sun 11:00–21:00
Admission: No separate paid ticket has been announced.
Dosan sits between Apgujeong Rodeo’s fashion stores, cafés and major Korean concept spaces, so this works well as part of a half-day neighborhood route rather than a standalone trip. For visitors interested in Japanese technical fashion and Seoul’s rapidly changing retail scene, opening weekend is the most relevant time to go.
