How to Visit Busan Biennale 2026 — Venues, Free Shuttle and the Art Bus
LIVING INDEX · BUSAN / ART GUIDE
Busan Biennale is not a single-building exhibition. The 2026 edition runs across Busan MoCA, Space OneZ and the former Busan Nam High School, which makes transport planning part of the visit. The free shuttle is the simplest way to turn it into a coherent day.
Hours Tue–Sun 10 AM–6 PM
October closures Oct. 6, 12, 19, 26
Transport Free venue shuttle; Art Bus on selected dates

Start with the three-venue logic
Busan MoCA is the institutional anchor, while Space OneZ and the former Busan Nam High School shift the experience into very different urban settings. If you want to see all three, use the official shuttle rather than improvising separate taxi rides.
The free shuttle
On open days, buses leave Busan MoCA at 11:00, 14:00 and 16:30, with onward departures from Space OneZ and the former school. Traffic can delay the schedule, so do not build a tight train departure immediately after the final venue.

Art Bus: useful if you want context
The reserved Art Bus runs on Oct. 10 and 17, connecting Busan Station, Busan MoCA, Space OneZ, the former school and F1963 with guided interpretation. Capacity is only 12 per tour, so this is the part worth booking ahead.
Traveler notes
Oct. 6 is a special closure even though it is a Tuesday, followed by Monday closures on Oct. 12, 19 and 26. Photography is allowed under venue rules but flash should be off. English information is available on the official biennale site; on-site guided language availability can vary.
WHY IT IS WORTH THE TRIP
The biennale works best as a way to read Busan through several kinds of space, not as a checklist of artworks. Give it most of a day.
